Physical Design or Digital Back - end engineer, capable of executing needed RTL to GDSII flow.
Will be exposed to a wide range of technology from matured to the latest submicron process nodes.
May assist the lead in resource planning and management for the successful service delivery to clients.
May assist task delegations when assigned.
Lead project items, small, medium and may include large projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Full RTL to GDSII (Synthesis and Place and Route) implementation including timing closure
Floorplanning and IP Macro placement planning
Power planning, implementation and optimization
Perform Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS), Placement, Routing and Static Timing Analysis (STA)
Perform Physical Verification (DRC, ERC, LVS, ANTENNA checks)
Reliability checks like EM violations check and Signal Integrity issues like crosstalk
Generation of GDSII, SPEF, SDF and other model files
Contribute in quality assurance checks to ensure that quality standards are met
May include client, tasks and small to medium project management
Contribute in process improvement and develop innovative solutions in Physical Design flow
Contribute to strategic planning, preparing and completing action plans within the team.
Coach junior team members.
Resolve problems, determining system improvements and implementing change. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (LE, CHAR, DA, others) to drive issues and resolutions.

Educational Background/Qualifications:
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering and/or Engineering in a related field.
With at least 3 years of experience on Backend Design flow specifically with Physical Design flow.

Aggressive in learning, strong problem solving, decision-making and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in a team operating across multiple sites
Ability to plan and organize project activities in coordination with the team lead or unit lead.
Ability to lead project items, small, medium and may include large projects.
